    Almaz Ayana

    Almaz Ayana is an Ethiopian long-distance runner, known for her exceptional performance in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters. She gained international acclaim by winning the gold medal in the 10,000 meters at the 2016 Rio Olympics, setting a new world record in the process. Ayana is celebrated for her strategic and powerful running style, making her one of Ethiopia's most prominent athletes.
