    About

Paula Radcliffe and Chris 'Thommo' Thompson are inviting you to join our club as part of our Leaves, Laces & Long Runs Autumn Build up series. No matter what you're training for, we are here to support you every step of the way! Paula Radcliffe is regarded as one of the greatest female distance runners of our generation. The multiple medal winner and world record holder - including the women’s marathon record for 17 years - has continued her passion for running since retiring in 2015. Chris Thompson is one of the UK's most prolific distance runners for over 25 years. Every Monday, we will bring 45 mins of high energy entertainment with a community spirit. An inclusive, unintimidating experience where people will learn from each other, helping understand quirks and developing coping mechanisms for all levels. On a Thursday we have The Shakeout where we answer audience questions. Each week Paula and Chris will discuss many different aspects of running from nutrition to hydration from motivation to training tips, all based around a running community. They will address the anxieties and uncertainties we all feel surrounding running. Paula and Chris will bring you some of the biggest names that also want to be part of their running community. Regular guests like Steve Peters, Harry Judd and Jill Scott will also be joined by some of the stars from sport and entertainment who will tell you why they run and what motivates them whether it be for fun, health or mental wellbeing.

This week on the Wahoo KICKR RUN weekly Shakeout by Paula’s Run Club, it’s all about running smarter, staying healthy and finding the joy in the miles. We tackle a listener’s question about blisters and injury management, including when to listen to your body, when to back off, and why an easy week can sometimes be the smartest training decision you make. There’s also plenty for race day: Chicago Marathon course tips, pacing strategies for busy races and PB attempts, plus the mental battle between your “red brain” and “blue brain.” We hear a brilliant listener story about rediscovering the joy of running, dive into foot-care and blister prevention and discuss structured training for shorter races. Thommo’s new Wahoo KICKR RUN has arrived (along with a helpful set of delivery guys who also tidied his garage...). You can get a free Headwind Smart Fan that connects to the treadmill via Bluetooth when you buy a KICKR Run. Use the code PAULASRUNCLUB at https://www.wahoofitness.com And, of course, we finish with the Wahoo KICKR RUN Honours Board, celebrating some seriously inspiring running achievements and charitable challenges. AND: The code for immufix.com is PAULA40 for 40% off your first 3 months Whether you’re chasing a PB, recovering from an injury, or simply trying to fall in love with running again, there’s something here for you. 🏃‍♀️❤️ 🏃 Listen.
