Dan Green is a professional trail runner for Salomon living in Huntington, West Virginia. While he's been a consistent presence in the sport for years, Dan burst into trail running superstardom after his course record victory at the 2025 Cocodona 250.

Soon after that performance, Dan signed with Salomon — a partnership he extended at the beginning of 2026, allowing him to step away from work and pursue trail running as a full-time athlete.

Dan was in the Bay Area for a Big Alta training run, so we brought him into the Freetrail studio for a wide-ranging conversation covering his journey, mindset, and plans for the future.
