Welcome to our first episode of 2026.

In this episode of the Run Breiter Podcast, Sam Breiter and co-host Colleen Mock kick things off with a quick recap of 2025, both in running and in life. From training and racing takeaways to personal lessons, we reflect on what the past year taught us.

From there, we look ahead to 2026. We share what we are excited about, what goals we are setting, and how our perspectives on running continue to evolve.

We also take a closer look at some of the popular running trends heading into the new year. We talk honestly about which trends can be helpful, which ones may be unnecessary, and how runners can avoid feeling overwhelmed or excluded. Our goal is to help bridge the gap and create more comfortable entry points into the sport so more people can start running and, more importantly, stick with it.

Thanks for listening, and as always, don’t forget to Run Breiter.
