Today on the podcast is the one and only, Olin Hacker!

Olin, a talented and dedicated runner hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, established himself as a rising star in the world of professional track and field. With an impressive background in both cross country and track, he followed in his father Tim's footsteps, who was an NCAA cross country champion. Olin's journey continued at the University of Wisconsin, where he earned an undergraduate degree in biology and a graduate degree in kinesiology while achieving notable personal bests in the mile (3:56.66), 3,000 meters (7:45.73), and 5,000 meters (13:19.34). His crowning achievement came in his senior year with a dramatic victory in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Championships. In 2022, he turned professional and joined HOKA NAZ Elite, immediately making an impact with impressive performances, including runnings PRs of 7:38.10 (3k) and 13:09.94 (5k) and a win at the Festival of Miles. Olin's dedication and accomplishments reflect his promising future in the world of professional running.

In today's episode, Olin goes through his very successful rookie season, his start in the sport, handling the ups and downs of the sport, and much more! This conversation was an absolute pleasure. Olin is always bringing the fun vibes and insightful answers. I hope you all enjoy today's episode as much as we did having it!
