Fresh off their British Championship victories, Rich Morrell sits down with two of Britain's newest national champions for an exclusive double episode.

First up is British 5000m champion David Mullarkey, who reflects on executing the perfect championship race, managing the challenge of travelling back from the United States just days before the event, and what it feels like to claim his first senior British title. David also discusses his season so far, the tactical approach that delivered gold, and his ambitions for the rest of the summer.

In the second half of the episode, newly crowned British 3000m steeplechase champion Kristian Imroth joins the podcast after an incredible week that also saw him earn international selection. Kristian talks through his breakthrough performance, the pressure of arriving at the championships as the top seed, how he handled one of the fastest domestic steeplechase races in recent years, and what representing Great Britain means to him.
