MOUNTAIN VISTA XC CAMPOUT

The Mountain Vista XC campout was so AWESOME! It was super fun to get to know the new team a little bit better. The team has such a positive energy and everyone is committed to growing as a runner and as a team. It was also super fun hanging out with Niwot high school who has a great running program. The campout was mostly spent running, playing a TON of spikeball, and huge soccer games. My legs are completely gone because of all the uphill running, but I'm feeling very proud because me and my buddy Niko had an undefeated weekend in spikeball. Food was a little bit tough. I had to bring my own vegan food for most meals which wasn't the easiest thing ever, but actually worked out! I just tried to eat a ton of food because we were burning a boat load of calories.
