Puma Forever Run 2

Just got into Atlanta to cover the USATF Half Marathon Championships. Took the Puma Forever Run 2 for a first run around town. I really enjoyed version 1 of this shoe but was worried when Puma told me that version 2 would become more stable. And while it does have an even bigger heel counter and a giant button underneath the arch, these stability elements don’t ruin the shoe for me. The new dual density formulation of foam works well to create a soft but stable experience that can be chill but also doesn’t get mad when it has to move a bit faster. It’s overall a bit more firm that I like for my daily trainers, it the first version of this shoe took a minute for me to really fall in love with it. We’ll see if the same happens with this shoe. .
