First Run Adios 9

First run Adios 9 for my hill sprints workout. I have a large hill nearby that I generally avoid except to do hill repeats. Depending on where I start, I can almost get to the top in 60 seconds. According to Strava/Garmin, that translates to about 250m and about 50’ of gain. Hills are clearly a weakness of mine.
.
I took the Adios 9 out for this one, as it is a “low” stack height shoe at 27mm of height. There is a shank in there somewhere, but I don’t really notice it. The foam is super dense for warmup miles but it sings nicely when up to speed. I can’t really imagine using this for reps much longer than 800m at a time or a race longer than 5k, but I have the soft feet of an endurance runner, not a 5k/10k guy.
.
The fit of this shoe is so comfortably snug. It’s not a bootie, but it feels like one. It’s hard to feel where my shoe ends and where the sock begins.
.
Further testing: I’d like to take this out for some threshold repeats on flat roads.

Disclosure: I bought this myself. (I bought my daughter a matching pair for her track season). No one is paying me to make this video or to include their brand in the video. No brands are tagged. No hashtags used.
