Aerobic Running Part 3 (of 5): Myoglobin
In the next two posts, I'll start putting this into practical advice you can use for your training.
Aerobic running means "with oxygen" so both easy runs and moderate runs fall under aerobic running. I suggest that some runs are kept truly easy, especially if it's the day after a speed workout or long run, and other runs can be easy-moderate.
A quick recap from video 2: Capillaries are tiny blood vessels that transport blood, oxygen and nutrients to cells in your organs and body systems. More capillaries mean you can quickly deliver nutrients and oxygen to your muscles.
My hope in breaking down the basics is to empower you with the knowledge to make smart decisions with your own training.
