Des Linden, marathoner

I have not been doing this as long as @des_linden has been racing at a world class level, so my footage only goes back so far. But Des has always been a fierce competitor and an admirable standard bearer for the sport. I’ve been a fan of American women’s marathoning for a long time, and Des is a big reason for that. Des announced her retirement from professional marathoning on Marathon Monday. And it was bittersweet to see her cross the line this one last time.
