2018 STATE TRACK MEET

THIS MEET WAS INSANE! The colorado state track and field championships were epic. For distance, Colorado has never been more stacked. Colorado currently has about 6 distance runners that could place top 10 in a national distance event. I love these guys and competing with most of them for the last time was an incredible experience. I took 3rd in the 1600m and 3200m. Normally, i'd be pretty upset with that, but considering the field I couldn't have been happier! Congrats to so many other runners who kicked butt as well. Emily Sloan and Devin Cadena both took home state titles for Rock Canyon! I can't wait for state next year! I ran 9:15 in the 3200m as well as 4:18 in the 1600m. Its not fast enough for Brooks PR, but I still have one more chance! On May 31st I will be racing at the Festival of Miles in Missouri to hopefully run 4:08 to get invited to Brooks!! #State #roadtobrookspr
